Know Microgreens

Simple, fresh greens that fit your day.

Understand what microgreens are, how we grow them, why they matter, and easy ways to use them.

What is microgreens?

Microgreens are young, edible seedlings harvested just after the cotyledon leaves develop. They’re concentrated in flavor and nutrients, making it easy to add freshness to daily meals without heavy prep.

How is microgreens grown?

1) Prep trays
Clean trays, fresh grow mats or soil, and filtered water ready.
2) Seed evenly
Spread seeds in a thin, even layer for balanced growth.
3) Cover & mist
Gentle misting, light cover to help germination, no overwatering.
4) Light & air
Balanced light spectrum and airflow to keep greens crisp.
5) Harvest fresh
Snip at peak flavor; chill immediately to lock in vitality.

Why microgreens?

Small servings, big impact—concentrated vitamins, minerals, and enzymes that fit any meal. In many Indian homes, leafy greens are underused because of time, prep, and freshness worries. Microgreens make it easy to fill that gap daily.

In the 1990s, Johns Hopkins researchers explored sulforaphane-rich broccoli sprouts and even pursued patents for their glucoraphanin content to study potential anticancer benefits (US5254281A, Paul Talalay et al.).
